I think he will charge alot more than £25 when he sees the mess you have made. Something similar to this.

£25 an hour? Damn thats cheap.

Have you ever considering giving the car to ed mate? Let him finish it to his very high standard.

25 is cheap going to eds I'll need a bank loan getting there

But mate you pay for what you get. Most people cant cheap out on stuff like frank etc mainly because we dont have the mass of knowledge he has. For most of us have to pay alot for quality service or parts.
I can promise if you sent the car to ed and got it done to about 150bhp the car will be bombproof.

I like wat everyone said and all the comments but I have no money left am on very tight budget and the base map is probley ok as my 4th injector wire isn't working all this time so let's see how it goes

Base map will work only if everything was kept the same mate. Even worse since you dont have a proper wideband which means you dont really know whats going on.

My base map is for the spec am using so it's all the same after I get this only fault fixed. Am on a tight budget so no wideband

I see gauges as a type of insurance. Can keep your car from going bang big time as you will know theres a problem before its there.

It can't go bang if my base map is on and drive to get it fully mapped as I'll have money saved by then, no turbo cars from factory comes with wideband @frank don't use one

Yes, but all factory turbo cars are mapped

that's what I just said when I get base map working I will drive it to mapper and get it fully mapped so no need for wide band, it will be as a factory car

They're also running prove setups woth millions in development. You've spent £0 on development with 0 testing.
It's a true say but 5 miles per day doing 60 mph max speed will never blow if it's fully mapped

Even daily turbo cars go bang mate. Even more for this build. Frank can get away with it as hes a mad sicentest but I know for fact if this build goes bang it will be up on gumtree an you will give up. Its brutally honest but true mate. Frank also has the experience to know whats wrong with his car just by little noise/performance changes which to be honest mate I dont think you will be on his skill level of doing this.

People need to start being straight with you. Your car can still run into problems even when its dyno or live mapped. Lets say theres a tiny oil leak in the turbo oil feed. You wont really notice it until its too late and you turbo have gone bang. Can be prevented with an oil pressure gauge and warning light.

My view is on any turbo car which is being tune water temp, water pressure, oil temp, oil pressure an wideband is a must. Atleast a wideband or oil pressure.

Some say that with franks mad skills when he needs to know his AFR he shuts his eyes and smells the exhaust and is accurate to .01 :p lol

Also research what mapper you take it to mate. Someone who has done micras before really. Theres so many crap mappers out there which do more bad than good

You ideally want wideband, boost and dual oil temp/pressure gauge. You get 3 clock pods that fit tge stereo slot iirc that would be perfect

Am not a rally driver, am only doing 5 miles per day I drive 3 turbo cars, and this Micra is for fun, if it's goes bang who cares ? for me it's nothing just time pass, let's see how I get on with the dyno after I get this fault fixed

Mate am not getting nothing like that, I have boost gauge that's about it , why ? Cos for 5 miles per day doing slow speed not worth it I don't think,

You can even use an android tablet and use gauge software apps which work great. Good way of doing it and about the same cost of all the gauges. Only thing you will need separate is a wideband as the senor and gauge are linked and synched together.

It may only be short trips (which is even worse for a turbo car).

We are just trying to advise about everything little bit so you do have all corners covered.

wideband for me don't exist and I'll keep my boost gauge only

I have protuner which had done many Nissan engine and said can do road mapping which is mobile mapping on extra cost so not too bad as he said he will make sure it's not rich or too lean

Azzy have a read of this link.
http://sparkyhelp.com/2012/01/fault-finding-electrical-circuits/
Just had a skim through and its tailoured to machines but the method is sound . Step 3 explains with a draeing what you need to do with your injector loom and how to set you meter. It will be worth a read for you tho as it will probably have a lot of good practises in it.
thanks for the info I have already done this, Tommow I will check for any burnt wires and check ground wire and live wire for the injector,

So if you only do 5 miles a day... why map it? It'll not get warm enough to go pop in 5 miles and will run on the base map just fine
That's wat I was think base map will not harm my engine if I drive local and keep at 5 miles per day if it's running ok I guess

Only 5 miles a day! why bother with the whole project, seems crazy to me to go through this much effort for a 10 minute drive.

I drive 3 cars some I drive for 3 hours and swap cars mate so Micra is just for a laugh I guess and thought Micra was a cheap car to get as my family loves Micra

today got meter on ohms checked the 4th injector and it shows 13ohm as Normal so then I found the same wire on my ecu which was blue wire and yellow wire now came with volt meter and shows same ? So now I tested each wire from injector to ecu was showing 7 ohm each wire which is working no burnt wire,

I was thinking I have fuel working ?
I have good sparks ?
Battery is new
why ain't it starting up ?

I got dizzy cap off and 3 screws off and gave the 4 contacts a clean with wd40, guess wat it started up on first click

now it was fine on idle but it was rouge wen u gas and didn't wana rev, my 4th injector wire unplugged didn't do nothing so I know it's same problem I have and running on 3 cylinders, took the 2nd plug off and into the 4th one the fuse just poped and car went off ? @frank have u had this problem before

Its best to you a proper spray contact for plugs ect...wd40 is a penetrating oil..sure it cleans but makes a mess with grease which could result to a short circuit..electric's can be a beach! :p

yeh I have two types of spray one for cleaning maf and other is wd40 but worked fine but other problem is my 4th injector

Well if the injectors are checked and are running fine and not squirting, ecu is ok then there isn't much left...meaning its not a spark issue and runs lumpy..get the loom professionaly checked...my advise...

my injectors all show 12 ohm or 13 which is ok. My ecu wires for injector ohms show they working, and no injector leaks, but why would my 4th injector plug pop a fuse when I move it over to 2nd injector ? can my 4th injector but faulty and still show 13ohms ? also can it pop a fuse?

Well i know that injectors vary in ohms and what resistance or current they use...are you sure that the injectors are proper ohms for your built...or maybe that 4th one os not the same with the others...?**** happens!

They are k11 stock mate ? And they read 12 and 14 ohms

Just make sure that its not an injector prob and move on one by one...you said you've checked the ecu right? If thats also ok it must be the loom...if the loom is also ok and you have good ignition you could check for fuel pressure..if your pump is running low..like really low..it could lean it and not be happy to rev..

The pump is fine, it's lumpy cos the 4th injector wire unplugged don't do nothing? And when I move the wires to other injectors the fuse pops ? The ecu wires not burnt as I checked each wire and it was showing 6ohms in each wire from injector to ecu wire, am lost

Which maf sensor? swap n check?

change out ignition switch to they dead in old k11's
Maf I have k11, sr20de and s14 maf all doing same job so that's fine, my car starts as normal now, it's my 4th injector comes poping fuse when I plug it in 3th 2nd or 1st injector holder ? if I put it bk in 4th it's ok but it's not doing nothing and misfiring so I will change the injector over for my old ones and check
