what did you do to your micra today ?

I raced karts for years and lock to lock could be done easily, habit I suppose. Never really noticed before and you're the only person to mention it.

Ohh when i moved from karts to rallying i was made to change because if you hit a bump and the wheel spins to one side, your thumb can get caught and dislocated...

Guess it mainly applies to forests and that though :p just how I've always been taught

Messed around with some tape..

Forgot to post my "s**t my pants 75-80mph moment" from the last rally I did....

nicely recovered.
I always keep my hands at 9-3clock thumbs inside too so I can countersteer instantly n know exactly where its pointing.
although when it slides abit more and I have to shift my hands for more steering, its tricky to know where the wheels are actually pointing.

countersteer with WOT full power yeah?

I had afew brown moments before, mainly when its damp, but getting better over the years

my first track skid in 2010 @ 0:50

2nd skid in 2012 at oulton @ 10:00

a big one at oulton later on @ 2:00

and a recent one at elvington @ 11:00

I can enjoy it more when I now know what to do to recover safely :)

Wdidt?Went and checked to see if scrap men have stole the car,
I've had to put notes in windows scaring them off and CCTV are watching.
Been a few attempts by looks of it :(
Bastards!

Spose so, not fair though. It's worth naff all to them, parts ain't worth much either most, it's the man hours that have gone into it I'd be annoyed about if it went. !!

Sorry to hear that!
Any big damage?

I once had some pikeys ask me if they could have my car for scrap whilst I was working on it outside the house :/

Yeah there is, it's new and built by the security firm on the estate, but it's always pointed at there unit!!
Had a 'word' the other day and said it's not right as the estate paid for it

Not yet, but they stole the bungee straps keeping the bonnet on ( wind blows it off)
Why?
Been in in the morning and surrounding stuff has been moved about.
There's a hydroponic store next door too with loads off chavs who hang round it looking over it too (owners if shop warned me)

My work is 1 minute away, and my driveway at home is now full, with work van and the baby transportation device lol

All driveshafts and exhaust are hanging off too, jus need to pull my finger out I guess

Could try that, CCTV people will be sorting out the camera soon I hope, they sold it on the fact it's motion sensitive, and you can control it by an app......but no one had been given the code!!

Mate of mine was having trouble with the pikey's breaking into his barn, he tied the door to his shotgun, BANG!!! they didn't come back. He was a bit of a nutter in his young days.
Can you wire your car to the leccy mains ????

Looking on line for silicone hoses, saw a carbon fibre air filter - any good ? also a mushroom air filter, looks like it would fit on the engine and under the bonnet without needing hoses.

Shooting in the face is too good for them...

Not quite like that stuart, he filled the cartridge with rice - it worked :) A neighbour of my mothers was having trouble with repeated break ins, I offered to sit behind the door with a live mains cable and dab the handle when they tried again - he wasn't up for it - pity - I would have done it ;)

Also fitted my cone filter today. The rag will be replaced with a small cone filter.
I cut the air pipe into the air box, and the small fitting that came with the filter was a perfect fit, so, that's that done :)
Wow, wow, WOW!!!!!!! what a difference, feather light throttle response, and pick-up is instant, much, much smoother drive, and a lot more bottom end torque - bleddy brilliant:D:D:D If you haven't done this - get on with it.
Did notice that on acceleration she was a bit flat at 4,000rpm, like, a little hesitant, then picked up again .....any ideas ????

Out of curiosity, did you oil the filter?
