That happened to me in my k10 with my p plate...my dad had slapped it (magnetic) on the bonnet corner, went flyin <_<

I swapped to my homemade Matt Humpris GRP A airbox which I made out of a 106 1.3 Rallye airbox (rather rare) with a K&N Panel and that got 94.3 BHP which I was over the moon with

Just thought I'd mention for you guys and gals out there that pretty much the only reason bulb holders melt is through bad connections between the metal contacts. This causes high current draw locally and heat causing them to degrade and melt. Make sure all your high wattage lighting contacts are clean. Smear a little electrical grease on them and they should last the life of the car. The 4-2-1 gives the gains IMO, such a good manifold but quite expensive.
