couldnt care less what people think of it, i just want a bigger and faster car i can love more than my micra, and i love that thing to pieces haha, would love an s13 or s14 in the future, that is definently happening!

Moved up a pace today, second stage template, needs fine tuning ,,,, but not far off what I will be happy with. Going to find the laser cutter place tomorrow and see what they can do.
Also messed around with the imperial Japanese military flag fascia - which one ????

What about vinyl which could be stuck over the original fascia? Would be far cheaper that new laser cut plastic. (I must admit I'm not entirely sure what your plans are)

Micra to the rescue after Bongo sprung a rad leak... Wife, two children and overnight luggage makes it a bit cosy. All together seven hours for a three hour journey!

Took the Subaru seat bottoms off to check how easily they'll fit to the micra sliders....and £1.10 in change came bouncing out! Multi Win!

Anyways, the Micra seat base will fit perfectly inside the subaru seat base frame...it's like they were made to be together...just need to drill holes for the seatbelt clip and run a threaded bar through the front tube to hold it all together...

No plans really noddie, I just fancied changing the fascia colours on the speedo, getting carried away with bespoke designs now and its snowballing.
Vinyl is an option due to the range of colours, even the matte is a bit shiny I think, but I have found the perfect material, colours limited though, getting close to my first one even so.

Not tempted to go bigger frank? After all the old gal doesn't half shift! Stops well enough but I never got the brakes hot ;)

going to a mates house for some micra hijinx, hes got a yaris that is literally one of the lowest in the country and tommys trying on a set of his old xxrs for banter, him and his mate have always wanted micras and seeing us with modified ones has set them off on one to get some in the future hahaha, gonna go that bit lower and do my spoiler there too!

Jesus frank.. Mapping.. Now new disks! Careful haha.

the MOT man will wanna see "some" new parts on the re-test ideally chris, (i did an educated bodge on the other fail points :) )
and they,re cheap enough at £9 ea from the local GSF
re andy,s bigger brakes question, i had vented 1.6 mera 18v brakes on my old super s, and was disappointed tbh, praps i,ll try some bigger non vented ones

Went for a potter about. Gauge still saying its running hot so gunna wait an hour or two then change the gauge temp sensor and have another play

Moved on a bit today, Sunday is a day of rest after all....ha, ha, anyways, had my first go at cutting out the detail.
Not to bad, need to work on my knife skills though, bit shaky here and there with a good few mistakes.
Also realised that the bottom line of the fascia is critical to the rest of the face, a sort of chain mark as used in the building industry if you like. So have made a bottom line template for future reference, makes life easy for spotting the reset button holes ... which were a pain. Also had a bit of a shock last night, browsing ebay, found a fifth different fascia style - bleddy hell !!!
Top piccy is the cut out, with the bottom one showing it fitted with the first cowling holding it down. I have also started another red one which I'm aiming to make my first one of the production line - we'll see.

Yeah I was but it doesn't look like it, the interior has a nice fuzzy coating and seeing all the missing parts makes it look like I've done sweet f all
