what did you do to your micra today ?

WDIDT?

Well not exactly today, but awhile ago when I received the new bulbs I ordered. While replacing the bulb noticed the old bulb was ok but there was something in front of the bulb.

Today opened the headlights and wanted to remove that stuff but could not. Here is the video.

Can some one help?

Regards.

Pretty sure they are supposed to be there, stop glare ect and reflect the light around the headlight housing to give even spread ect

Could be wrong though :)

Thanks McMicra,

The glass is not clear. And the light at night does not show on the road. Only the left light shows on the road.

Tried to remove but its nigger than the space for bulb. The glass from plastic cant be removed I presume its glued somehow.

Any ideas?

Regards

fitted a little £1.59 volt meter to the a/f/r gauge :) i,ll probably use it instead of the damn distracting/3 colour changing gauge

and bought this tacho too :) for crosschecking with the stock tacho while testing the modded optical disc (it has a sparklead signal, as opposed to the cam sensor signal)

Went through all the pages in the DVLA site to do my disc and it brings up the "tick the box for the tax disc you require"
....I don't get a choice of boxes to tick though LOL.....It's just the 12 month one :p

Looked at it in despair as 3rd keeps knocking into neutral ???

Clutch is fine, no slipping. The brake fluid is low as indicated by the dash warning light, could this be linked to the gear problem?

Engine mount? I think I read it can happen if too much lift occurs it can 'pull' out of gear? Probably wrong.
Really?
I think it happens when I'm accelerating around a right hand corner? Couldn't say for sure as had a few j's since I've been out and about and I weren't really paying attention to when it was happening, just listening out for bad noises.. All's I know is its pretty sh*t, as I've had it revving its bollocks off a few times today whilst over taking around a roundabout, leaving me looking pretty gay and Garry boy :(

wdidt? Finally found the source of water leaking into my fan/heater box/footwell. After reading something on micra.com.au, I checked under the scuttle cover and sure enough the seals were completely rotten. Sealed it up with silicone and am hoping it doesn't leak again. :)
Also, finally got around to replacing the left side suspension arm. Got everything loose except for the actual ball joint and have now broken two ball joint removers. I'm really quite fond of the little green beast, but today it's being exceptionally stubborn and I'm ready to throw a spanner through the windscreen...

Engine and gearbox out, looms removed, im left with a shell :D cross member needs replacing, easiest way to split the old welds?
