So I've ordered some stickers haha a tow strap some tar and glue remover and some exhaust tubing so I can start fabricating my exhaust so I'm a happy bunny love ordering bits and pieces for marley the micra :p

What engine u got in ? And what gearbox space like on the chassis ?

I'm using ga16de a 2000 primera engine. And the pre face k11 1.0 gearbox.
Gearbox clearance is fine and if you blank the water pump off and use the 1.0 crank pulley so is the drivers side.
I'm going to solid mount the drivers side engine mount as the inlet mani is painfully close to the brake servo!!!
Overall not as bad as people make out.

I suppose the stock driveshafts work too because of the 1.0 gearbox yeah?

You have a great set up of the engine and box there as they fit nicey, what about wiring how was that, this swap isn't hard am guessing ? Are u using bush mounts

Thank you it's turning out very easy tbh.
I will be using the micra wiring loom with the micra's throttle body so I will only have to extend one coolant temp sensor and that will be it with the harness.
The drivers side engine mount is the only one I've had to change. I will be bolting and welding a large box section through the chassis rail then bolt the engine to that.
Obviously a strip of rubber between engine mount and block.
So the solid mount will ensure the engine or gearbox won't move.
Only downside is vibrations but i don't mind.
:)

Sounds simple u shouldn't have any problems with bush mounts of the ford transit van, my car doesn't viabrate on idle or reving, are u local from Sheffield

Finally got a email saying they have dispatched my steering wheel boss can't wait to finally fit it only had to wait 5 weeks for momo to send one

Finally got the dewiper bung on, I know @MicraPRO will be happy about this, the masking tape wasn't making him happy haha!

Edit: also drove Layla to work. Made my long, tiring and generally rubbish day so so much better driving her home. I missed this car more than I remember.

Had a chat today with a mechanic about these vortex exhausts. Guaranteed minimum 10% power and torque gain.
Made to measure on order, and guaranteed for life (stainless steel) also lower emissions.
Sounds like the business for a cheapish power gain...£786 delivered.
Anyone on here got one, or know who has one????

alot of money for 7 bhp! do like ive done make your own or get someone to make you one less than £100 still same gains by removing the restrictions (if your local to wigan i can make you one)
