WDIDT?

Tried to clean the Axle. Here is the video.
Could not removed the ABS sensor and the brake (is called shoes or pads?). Don't know how clean does it have to be before painting it!

Is it clean enough to paint?

Can some one help me here please?
Has any one used Hammerite Kurust? Is it any good?
What other product or there for treating the rust and painting over it?

Regards

how you mean mount it on a plate in the wheel well?

Well its alot of hassle to mount it the traditional way. Soo I had the idea of mounting on the underside of the wheel well. Either by welding a plate underneath to bolt it to. Or some large repair washers either side :) sorry for not making sense

mot failure repair done

fitted front spoiler of a 6n polo saloon

k& n cone filter fitted (loving the noise under load)
BRRRAAAAAAAAAPPPPPP!!! But if its directly on the throttlebody it may get super hot like mine did and be useless lol. Though im sure the square wheels i had on at the time didnt help.

What needed repairing?

I want an air intake...
But it will be a huge addition to my insurance... Won't it?
might make a difference if you tell them, not sure how much but as a new driver any mod will be punished (cause insurance are twats), most people wouldnt bother i think, they dont really do much except make noise. Tbh if you do crash and they say anything you could just say the old airbox cracked and this was a cheap fix

WDID ?
maybe sussed how to get these head gaskets to withstand more boost :) using these modern crimped steel gasket technique (here,s one of our later type kart ones, a fire ring and 2 oil/crankcase ports, perfect seal without the use of compound or sealer)

and here,s the cut-out fire-rings from a CR gasket, on a CG gasket

when torqued down the crimping has flattened out in the high clamping area,s (near the bolts) but has,nt flattened in the low clamping area,s (between the bores where they blow first)
