what did you do to your micra today ?

Pissed off. Would of had an awesome photo to show you had I not let my car battery die by leaving the lights on. Did 334 odd miles and about 1/8th left in the tank on a 1 litre 51 plate face lift. Got out the car battery died and then just did 39 miles and it hasn't even touched the red line yet. Bah! That's bloody 370 odd miles on a tank of normal petrol. Impressive no and I reckon I have 20 more miles in there... Didn't even think you could get this many miles out of these cars.

I bet you wouldn't be jealous of his petrol bill though. Your car looks great, very different from those around it though. It's getting more classic car show era now.

Called VOSA for an appointment found out that the waiting time is quite long:(. The first available appointment is 9th of July. I have to call everyday to if there is a cancellation. So "Burt" is going to be off road until than.

Looked at it alot in a depressive mood. No money means no more building. All the tasks left require money in one way :( steel for fabrication, having prop shortened + all missing parts. Sigh boring day

WDIDT?....well
a couple of weeks ago my mum had her AC sorted by Nissan, and while we were there I asked the parts guy if you can get the black pillar trim off a K12c and fit it to a K12e
...he said it's "bonded" which is code for... pain in the arse and it'll probably break in the process <_<
but.... "we can order you the part in...cost £30.....plus VAT....per side"...ummmm....no thanks :p

Shopping in Lidl on Sunday afternoon...and spotted their "adhesive patterned film"...£1.49 a roll or two for £2.50 ^_^...so I got me some...and had some fun

....and I'm pretty sure it'll fall off the next time it rains fairly hard but... I like it LOL

Looks better Jen. Is it like fablon? On my k10 I got a roll of satin black fablon from wilkinsons for 2 pound odd and it looked 'factory' when I fitted it and exactly the same 2 years later :D

I'm not sure...it's really like Sticky back plastic I guess :p
I got this lovely, slightly textured, Black, and mine too looks and even feels like the proper plastic trim
until you open the door and see the film curve around the edge of the door frame ^_^

...it evenhas a 3 year warranty according to the packaging! LOL

ah, I see... Hey...you're not old! LOL

My dad asked a woman in a shop for "Snow-pake" a couple of weeks ago...I had to question that,
never heard of it before o_O
...it's like the most famous correction fluid ever!
....Really?...I though that was Tipp-ex *facepalm* :p

ETA: Cheers Andy ;)

I must admit, I've never heard of snow pake  Now you've blacked your B pillars Jen you have so got to do your rims ;)

...If I had stupid amounts money to throw away I'd have 'em LOL
...one day....one day...well...three I guess...need to clean ...rub back...prime...rub back...paint... rub back...lacquer :D

And a 30mm drop

I wondered how long that would take ;)
...not gonna happen guys...until I win the euromillions, anyway ^_^

Jen I know this isn't much use for you but I was quoted 140 for all 4 wheels to be refurbed I'm sure it wouldn't cost much more for them to be powder coated a colour of my choice

bigjord might still be selling his springs unless guy has nabbed them lol

...bigJord's is/was pretty gosh darned low...we have nasty speed bumps practically surrounding our house ! <_<

...I like my arch gap ...so there :p

I think 30mm to start with eh? Just small enough that its justifiable as not really lowering but just low enough to catch the bug...
