Hi guys, been here before with a nasty k10 a few years ago. Picked this k11 up today for next to nothing. Needs a good scrub, few service items and some tidying up. Will post more pics after I've had chance to give it a thorough going over. Alex.

Not bothered about the paintwork at the moment, just wanting to get it running and driving before anything else. Battery is junk - ordered one off ECP but didn't fit the connectors, so must have picked the wrong one, replacement now on the way - got the rest of the other service items. Think I caught the plugs and filter about right - they're now fresh. Looks like the rad at the bottom has been kicked in at some point - hoping that isn't leaking.

Plugs turned out to be a nightmare to change - I had noticed it was missing a bit on the drive home, found the culprit! Also, started to strip the back out, there's a fair amount of human slime - also the spare wheel well showed signs it has been a bit damp at some point and lots of surface rust. Will be cleaning that tomorrow and protecting it with some paint!
