Today i had the wheel alighment done. Next is homologation of the springs (stupid procedure here in Slovenia) then MOT.

Passed MOT this morning everything was fne except emissions but it was a friendly tester :) So weight reduction:

I had this box of first aid kits and jacks etc that came with the car :

good call, but surely doing things like drop springs counts as a mod?

There are some mods allowed in street class. Every mod has points. Like springs have 4 points, dampers 10, ARB-s 8, headwork is 15 etc. When you reach 60 points you go to the next class. Every car has a base number of points. for example the micra has none, ITR has 30 and the clio RS200 cup has 50. So to stay in the Street class with a clio you cant really do much but with the micra you can do alot :) ATM i am at 1 point because the allowed tire width in Street clas is 205 and i have 175 so they deduct 6 points. I also have a pod filter wich is 3 points and springs wich are 4. Sounds complicated eh :)

On saturday me and my friend fitted this:

After a tiny struggle with the bolts:

The stabilizer bar came off:

Old droplinks. 3 bolts came undone fine but one was a 2 hour struggle:

Battle wounds on the nut:

Fitted:

Now you ask me how it drives. Well it rolls a little les and steers better i think but most of all you get loads of lift-off oversteer(Y) At some point i will fit Strongflex bushes on the front aswell but first i decided to invest into a digital gauge for monitoring oil and water temps and oil pressure etc...

And im doing a trackday on friday so wish me luck :)

Here are the times from yesterday:

timeattack-rezultati-7-2.png

0.8s faster than the last time. I think with some more camber at the front it would be better :) Im happy that im faster than a 1.4 turbo civic :)

Im sure the car can do better..its me that is the problem ATM. Look at number 5. position...nickname Ozi: Stock civic hatchback 1.4 75hp just good tires and a bloddy good driver!

Because nobody wanted to take pictures of my micra on the trackday (they did take pictures of every other car from several angles :wasntme: ) i decided to do it myself. This is my first attempt at making serious pictures and the camera used was some point and shoot (and pray to god) Olympus that i borrowed from my mom and so on :)

Here goes:

And 2 optimistic pics:

Good pics mate, and car's looking good, as ever (Y). Love the optimistic shots as well . There's no one drifting the car!

Micra owners always get haters. I had Micra haters, now I've got BMW haters. Soon I'll have both . But I'm sure you could Photoshop the pics to make them look like you're drifting? Cheat a little? :grinning:

the poor car looks left out in the back ground all by itself :(

Well the DBS is parked on the entrance into the pits and the micra is parked in the spectators parking :p There were also a V12 Vantage, porshe gt3, audi r8 V10 GT, bmw M3 GTS, M3 CSL, and a M3 GTR race car:

Here are the results:

293293_2319342018426_1095807284_32656903_65026569_n.jpg

Green is torque red is power. The lowe curve is with the bonnet closed. Max value with an opened bonnet was 88hp at 6120rpm and 125Nm of torque. With the bonnet closed the peak power was 6hp lower and torque 5Nm lower.

There was also a bone stock mondeo ST220 and that showed 210hp. And also a bone stock Honda civic type R that showed 200Hp (stock is also 200) so im pretty sure this is correct :)

Here is a video:

True but while driving on the road there is a massive exchange of air through the grill. Much bigger than what the dyno fan can generate. But anyway i have a plan on making a good cold air feed to a GA16 airbox ;)

that scuttle are may not get any airflow tho (a stale area) like when people fit bonnet lifters and think that it will let heat out fwn the lower screen area has positive pressure on my car and i can turn the heater fan off while traveling yet still feel it blow hot

It turned 130k km today. Nothing to report aside from front brake pads that wore out and were replaced. And i will do a service soon...this oil has been in for 7000km now...

Me and my friend Ozi went to a trackday yesterday. Had loads of fun. Here are the results:

timeattack-rezultati-9-2.png

He is way faster than me.... although i had worse conditions (slightly greasy track)

And Ozi in action:

If I get any more pics ill post them ;)

80 BHP and 120 Ft/LBs of torque is very good for such a light car - car's looking very nice as well (Y).
