squarepants micra blog

thats just cheatin..lol, the stripe is supposed to be right into the corner of the bonnet..... but each to his own.

yearh i tried to put the stripes to the corner but messed it up and lost its stick :p as had to cut it away while it was stuck down lol hence why it looks a bit gay....i brought it from japshow fianle at the pod, £4! oh also got my nismo side graphics aswell.
 
took off the bonnet sticker, re-painted cailpers black, also did the shocks and front anti roll bar black whilst there :p also got my graphics so i can put my nismo stripes on as soon as poss :) just want rear 1/4 tints, n paint front grill mesh black (still unsure bout mesh) . so getting there slow.

witch one you preffer?

the squares are realy hard. ive only done mine on one side. but its gotta be done!

i would do several things.

get some 5 spoke wheels (like mine although if i could i would have black with polished lip)
get rid of side strips,

use the darker stripe,

paint the claipers Gold (thats what colour nismo uses)

paint the grilles black,

then enjoy. it will look awesome without being over the top!

cailpers gold? lol but they aint nismo, so i dont want to make them look like somthing there not if you get me? ye gonna paint grill mesh black. also what you mean by draker stripe lol?
 
Hmmm.. Imo the stripe should be lower, and roll off the wheel arch.. If you get me.. Rather than just being.. There.. bit more difficult yeah, but it'd look so much better!!!

Also, Take off the side protectors.. Ill do a photoshop :)

i love the idear... but the skyline strips look cooler. just coppy them. you need to take off the side strips tho..

well ive done the graphics this morn! yearh ive copied the skyline ones...even did the little squares (what a bastid that was!) iam very happy with them. will get pics up later as a dont have my cable for my cam here.
 
like these graphics: bar the s-tune and nismo stickers, although gonna get nismo stickers for it, maybe r-tune ones or s-tune iam un decided yet :p

sorry mate im being lazy how did you make them? vinyl i assume? i wanted to do some for my k10 :D
 
finally the cars rolling on 15's agian! got some brock b2 super cup alloys in anthersite, 4 brand new admiral tyres! second hand aswell! look awsome really make the car look 10times harder also fills the archs more!

think the black and red will work well with the graphics though hard to tell from the photoshop lol. Ill have a go if you want on it il upload tomorrow.

i do agree with you there...i thought that before i posted but i reckon it could work...they deffo need doing so iam gonna do them so as, but if anyone can think of a better colour i will take it into account.... other than this red with black i was thinking black with a silver lip?

although saying that shaun..these look pritty sweet ;)

these look good because they are anodised.

this one has a relatively small lip and almost body coloured so pulls it off.

right...the car is in abit of a state at the moment, ive got a bumper cut out for a side exit exhaust ( exhaust needs fitting) (also i now have a laguna phase 1 splitter) and got rid of my tow eye, a blowing back box and a bodged up/home made water bottle (as side exit runs through where the old one used to sit, hopefully will be sorted by next week, i also have a list of mods coming soon! also i have got my paint for my wheels so they want doing lol.

well i never got pulled when it was on my car i had it on for about 3month and drove it daily, its legal for emsions (i think) as it has the cat in the manifold, but its illegal for loudness. i tried to put in a silancer when i made it but with it exiting out of the bumper there was/is no room for one as the pipe length is too short. squarepants knew its was illegal before he took it off my hands. oh and even on an NA car it still has engough back pressure because its still running the standard manifold, and has a back box on.
 
put those clearr lights back on, they made a helluvva difference, and in a good way.

Also, any pics of the exhaust mounted? And videos so we can see how stupidly loud it is? Loud and Proud :D
 
right...ive decided iam not having the exhaust on lol, just some reasons:
more than likley to get pulled by the fuzz
too much hasstle as the down pipe bolts are seized
gonna be way to loud and annyoing after a while
not gonna be able to fit a four branch manifold.

so my plan is to cut the bumper TIDY on both sides and put on the standard rear bumper, i have been thinking of taking off the rear bumper for a while now. so this means putting my ashly compition back box on.

somthing like this just to save me swapping bumpers agian and tidy it up with abit of diffrance.

like i said in another post, perfect that rear splitter as it does look nice, but get a custom backbox made from powerflow or someone well respected who can make you a skyline style one going accross the back of the car at an angle, looks nice then as your showing off some stainless, looks custom too, sounds nice, and probably has never been done!

Looking at the barryboys site, they all seem like cocky fools who can't respect good cars. This cavalier got put on their but i think it's alright!

hmmm, the yashio factory's pink s15's rear bumper is giving me ideas :)

the idea i have in my head, is to take out the ally thats in the cut out bumper, bolt it/rivit it to the bottem of the standard bumper (but cut the ally so it doesnt scrape the floor) put some fins in it and bend the ends to the side (like the s15), very simlair idea to the JGTC 350z rear bumper. then this would enable me to bolt metal under the car to make it aryodynamic, also look better...
 
nah i'm not feeling that S15 bumper one bit i'm afraid :\ i don't think the idea of having the sides and then 2 fins in the middle section would be bad though! bit like the vipers!

also please do not do that to a micra please please, theyre for race cars only imo. They look daft on road cars especially when they wont do anything.

new plan, standard bumper is back on. i have painted the front nissan bonnet badge black and dome spare mirrors i have from raceworxs blue micra (yes i know what your thinking! why paint them black but modififying is about beeing diffrent so they look like lower spec mirrors) :p

just need to fit a list of parts!

and then iam then TURBOING it or SUPERCHARGING it....

there's being different and there's being silly, lol. i'd say about 75% of micras have black mirrors, if not more!!! you could've just said to tie it in with the new black theme!!!
bonnet badge should look ok. was thinking about doing mine, but you've beat me to it lol.
and thank the lord , you've finally swapped that stupid rear bumper. :D
