well i got bored so i decided to do a blog :p anyway here is my micra blog, i brought a 1998 k11 1.3 si, it has electric windows, colour coded bumpers and 14" alloys. heres some pics when it was at the garage.

a week later it got lowered 35mm on kyb springs, clear side repeters, chrome richbrook areial, chrome poppycoral and carbon fibre nismo gear knob. also stuck on my msc stickers :p

then we had some muppet run into it when it was parked up :p

then i brought some 15" vision motorsport blitz alloys from tommo, and i also brought some msdesgin side skirts from richmicratwista.

then we had the damaged fixed by p11sr20 :) also brought/fitted some clear rear lights, front splitter and nismo number plates!

the front grills were taken out to be modified

then came jae, the car was all fixed and looking good! :) also won the msc show and shine.

a couple of weeks later i fitted my airfilter and strut brace.

after a couple more weeks the car needed some new tyres, so off came the 15's and on came some 14's and also some wind deflectors.

a couple more weeks went by, so i decided to paint a spare cam cover i had.

then i got a ashley compition backbox (still to be fitted) and gave the car a good clean, also i got a raceworx sticker and silver control panel surround :p

Looking good. It's a couple of shades lighter! I'm sure it'll fade slightly tho! :)

Did u spray the whole thing or just the black parts?!
 
sold the si alloys to my mate, sorry dude.

ems i painted the job lot, i used some spare mirrors ive got off raceworxs old blue micra :p and the handles
 
small update, painted handles (not very good tho, need to do some more as the colour match is pants) and this might sound gay but i also had a go at painting the washer jets :p

just need some rear tints, black headlights, and painted front calipers me thinks :) and thats it for the outside! then its time to move on and tidy up the engine bay with some more paint.
 
looking good mate, if you spray your caliper let me know how you done it or even better do a guide :D

swap arms over (driver to the pass side) then get the blade from the stndard pass side and place it on the drivers arm witch is now on the pass side :) the move the arm a bit up the window (so it moves all the way to the driver side/sweeps the full screen) then tighten the bolt job done! :)

one question.....the drivers arm that is no longer required!!! have you put anything there??

no, just leave it blank....iam still after tints as i messed up my last attempt think iam going proffesinal jobbie. i need new tyres, so i think iam going wider on the stndard alloys ;) then just do some painting.

well the back is hard to do tint wise....i wouldnt want to do that..but def have another go urself mate at sides!!!

£6 at trago mills for the tint where as a professional tinting garage will charge around £150 i think for back and sides??? maybe abit more

up to you though mate!!!
 
my mate had his corsa done in sheffield all the windows (except the front obviouisly :p) £200, i was shocked how cheap that was, but still if i give it ago myself it will cost around £50 then extra on top for the rear window (proffesinal) :)
 
no cold air feed mate??

when u removed your rocker cover to spray it yellow.....when re-attaching it did you replace any sills for new ones?
use any sealent?
everything fitted back ok?

hows the wipe in the rain? mine seemed to be fine

no no caold air feed mate, need one tho but it dont really matter :p
yes i replaced the gaslet seal :p
yes i used a bit of sealent as it didnt seal right and leaked oil (sill does :p)
yes every thing fitted back ok apart from above..... and the wiper works ok, as said its a bit slow as its doing loads of work on its own... but its ok and drive able in the rain :)

that is expensive you muppet!!! lol :p liz only paid £150 on the N16, from spire tints.
have a word with me and i'll put you on to someone who can do it cheaper. he quoted me £25 for my rear screen. and he'll do the front sides aswell if you want. reputable companies wont usually touch the front side as they are illegal for road use (except very, very light tints which you'll hardly notice)
