Smokey manifold?

Ok, I went to fit a manifold from Frank, but I had a stubborn bolt and gave up!
So the standard manifold is still in place and I've tightened it up in position.

I started the car again just to check it still worked and the manifold is smoking quite a bit.. Any ideas why? I'm pretty certain it's all done up tight enough!

Could it be just dirt burning off the manifold?

I haven't put the heatshield back on, could it be i usually just don't notice as the heatshield colvers it?

Could just be oil on the manifold, or as you say dirt or something

i left it running a while and it seems to be reducing in smokeyness, guess thats that one sorted.

Still pee'd off about that bolt though :grr:

if the car doesnt sound like its blowing then its probably just burning something off.

Nah it sounded fine!

It's the front most bolt, joining the manifold to the front cat.

I did this job last weekend, i removed the 1st cat and manifold together and then separated them on the ground and it was much easier.
