Gear Problems

Hi guys,

I have an R reg micra 1.0 passion, The problem is that when lifting the clutch after changing gears the car jerks a little, as though im lifting too quickly but im not, this only happens 1st thing in the morning (after i have driven it a bit it doesn't happen).

Another problem is the gear stick gets jammed in 1st gear (again usually in the morning - when car isn't really warmed up, after a while no problems)

Was wondering wether it was a gear box problem or clutch?

It's pretty normal mate, don't worry about it.

MY CG10 done it
my CG13 does it.
I don't worry about it, although mines 2nd gear usually.

yip, kinda normal, my k10 1.0 did it and mk k11 1.0 dus it

You tried changing the G.Box oil, i bet its over due

it should last the life of the engine though......

although ive just changed mine twice in two days.....bleedin drive shafts,, GRR

gearbox oil should be changed every 54k miles, on all micras k10,k11 and k12
