It's ok everyone- he has bought it!

And with Franks post this thread could be useful with Martyboy asking so many questions in blogs.....

Plus i can send him abuse because he sold his white micra and he will never be forgiven for it.

many thanks frank for helping me, i know im annoying but if you dont ask, you dont know!!

thats a big big help frank cheers

13 x 8j et - 10 will be just fine with an arch pull and 175/60 0r 50s, ive got the 175/60's on my supers s rims so will remove and fit to new wheels and take it from there, any chance of a pic on the front with a et -3 if possible

also any chance you could explain how you created some negative camber in the front, ive seen a picture of yours were your overdrilling through the damper bolting hole so you can move it about to change the camber but how does it stay there? what stops it from slipping back?

also what size drill bit if you can please buddy

and to add to ferrits strange thread, yes i now own my 3rd k11, prefacelift non nats 1.0 3 dr

after some diet and weight watching ill be transplanting the 1.3 lump in, group A janspeed manifold, de-cat straight through with no baffles to a 4'' tip with no backbox!! frankspeed lightened flywheel, snappy mph(matt humphreys)clutch and possible the bike carbs

id like to port and polish head and maybe tomei cams but all in good cause

anyone know if i can mount the 1.0 gearbox to cga13(i think thats the name?) same one thats in nis;s motor or in the 1.4 sport + models??

also is it possible to change from coilpacks to dizzy and ht leads and run fine??

soz for all questions, just got in from work and have had millions of things to ask

oh and some photos of the little bar steward!

off rats blog

has so much potential

new next to old!

bump strips of the first day i get it and finshing removing all the interior, carpets, roof lining, sound deading with a full sand down and respray internally with satin black, even the roof!

and found video of my old car :down:

damn that sounds nice!!

the drill size is 12mm marty, and you just leave the lower bolt loose and lift the hub up while the drill is running (a 1 to 2mm slot is plenty) and mine have never slipped but you could fit star washers if you like, for more bite
and mine is a CGA (1348) with a distributor head, on a type 41 (pre98 1.0) g/box, but the little 160mm clutch will only handle 100hp (which will probably rule out bike carbs )

Fitting a 1litre gearbox to a 1.3 engine basically gives better pull away, So worth doing Marty now u need to just find a engine....
Saw him today actually, came down Sleeper_ss workshop when i was there he was having a look around his new project, but not letting out too much info on the plans for it!!!!
Good to see you again buddy!

and re the camber subject, i set mine with a sawblade slid down the back where those 2 bolts go, for this much camber (you can see the vertical rear tyre arrowed in pic)
and then leave out the sawblade and push the top fully in till there,s no gap for (trackday/wreck your tyres) camber
