Engined had been well warmed up before anyone complains, and was left to idle after for a wee while.

does the lock, lock when you turn the key from the outside? because if the central locking works when you push the lock by hand but doesn't when you move the lock with the key then it must be somthing conecting the the lock barrel with the puch lock...... if that makes sense

yes mate, any coilpack (post 2000) are shorter

yes the cat was made about 4" longer because its a 1 cat system, so they made the mani and downpipe shorter to suit

I'll see if I can get a dizzy manifold and catalyst then, shouldn't be too costly

Has anyone wired in a pod tacho to a coilpack? Is there a wire that travels to the dash that carries a tacho signal I can tap into?

Will be a signal wire from ecu I'd imagine, not seen coilpack ecu loom diagrams going round though...

As a standard cat back, give it a janspeed manifold and it will exceed limits

No janspeed, just a prefaclift manifold and a custom stainless system cat back

Been thinking about what to do at the end of this year, have come up with three options....

1)Sell off the car to someone that wants a championship winning car, and get a motorbike
2) Fulling strip, paint and rebuild car with 1400 engine and new parts
