If police see that chances are they'll pull you if they're bored enough...make sure theres nowt dodgy with your car eh

I thought it would've come under "Interior Changes"
Both myself and iirc @skymera both notified insurers and got told they weren't bothered. If making more space in the back was 'interior changes' you'd have to notify the insurer every time you folded the seats down...

If anything it would lower insurance as there's less chance of 5 dead people...

I had this argument with my insurance for the mini. I have no rear seats and their argument was I'm more likely to be driving like an idiot.
Turns out it made no difference to cost after I read out a few pages of mods

Thanks boys. did they do the blue/green dials in the Si's ? Can you swap those dials into an Si if not ? I have an sr speedo ... mechanical drive in blue.
Just been looking at a facelift sport, colour coded steering wheel and interior .... looks good. Thinking of buying it.

Thats strange, when I was first looking to insure mine online I put in the year (2003) n it gave me the option for an S or an Sr on every site I visited lol

WDID? Been defeated for a second day by the rocker cover screws

Half are mangled so screw driver is no good, tried to chisel the heads round and that didn't work, tried to chisel them off and all I managed to do was blunt my chisel =[

Someone lend me a grinder? haha

dremel cut a slot across the screw head and use an impact driver with a flathead bit

Here's and idea. You know that black putty ****, dump a nipple of that on the nut. Stamp with a wide flat head screwdriver, warm up car/wait 24 hours for it to set.

Should work. There's a bolt puttied to the floor in my local car parts shop, you can take a hammer to it and it won't budge.

My facelift was a 99 reg :) it was electric IIRC it was just one big connector block :) was a while ago I had it so could of been 3 connector blocks :p xxx
