what did you do to your micra today ?

WDID? Not much yet.. finally got the parts I ordered Aug 24... Not the fault of the shipper, except that they didn't give me a tracking number :( They've been sitting in a warehouse here since Aug 30, but I didn't get that info :( ..but I now have my parts :D

1x Q-drive Suspension Arm
I'm a bit puzzled/worried about this.. it seems to weigh quite a bit less than the other one I have replaced..
Looks slightly different as well... I really hope it is the correct part!
2x Pagid rotors
Shiny new brake rotors still in their plastic bags :)
2x Pagid calipers
Remanufactured Nissan part. have received no details on returning the originals to get the surcharge back (£42.00 each)
One has new dust boots for the caliper guides, but the other does not.. guess I need to get those locally :/
2x Pair Pagid brake pads
New parts. Includes no retaining clips or backing plates(I've gotten these with the pads everytime I did brakes in the states)

Now to get someone to do some welding and I will finally have the little green beast prowling the streets and annoying all the mercs and bmws again :D

I have lied, I am going to change the piston...do you know why? JUST BECAUSE I CAN MUAHAHHAHAHAHHAA :D never done it before so it should be a laugh :p

MEEEOOOOWWW Get it boosted so you know what it feels like then youll just want to finish it so you can do it all the time.

WDID.....crushed 2 racecars, poor little k10's :(. On the plus side, i have made a bike carb manifold up for the cg13 engine, started filling and porting it tonight but gave up after realising that having the engine and manifold 10 miles apart wasnt ideal...lol. will post pics up as i go along once i can figure out how to do it!!

Fitted my MSC stickers to the detective chief inspector (cheers Kev!). Micras without them just don't look complete :):

Just been trying to work the MPG of the car (from the jae run) and unless im forgetting some extra fuel spending and the online calculators are all correct, it looks like it achieved somewhere between 35 and 43 MPG.

If thats true (and i still dont quite believe it, even though i've checked it a few times) then im happy with that considering i was refining the map all the way there. :D

I suppose it is technically an N/A normalish micra at cruise.

Checked on the rust and its spreading... bugger. Set back the mot till after i last need the car so when it fails im not stuck. Jobsearch continues, need money for micra fixing, maybe some food after that.

Got around to removing my old lambda sensor from the original manifold and fitted it to the 4-2-1.

Luckily it wasn't seized but needed a good whack to undo. Everything went nicely and plugged it in. Not noticed any differences, but I've been running without a lambda for a month or so.

Also fitted a new air filter to the standard airbox. I ran a day without a filter with the cold air feed to the box and when I lifted the lid, the airbox was filled with leaves and other organic matter. OOPS.
Fitted new filter and was very surprised to see how much stuff is already building up!

You're giving James May a run for his money :D

Today I'll be emptying the boot at some point, couldnt be bothered last night.

Oh and a very obvious helpful hint (which i ignored) :D ...dont drive around corners turning quickly with an open bag of popcorn on the passenger seat, midway through the corner then the sound of a wave of popcorn....had to stop and clean all that up on my way home yesterday.

u need a popcorn 'bucket' seat or a popcorn holder :p

Haha yeah build it a mini harness, i couldnt believe it when it happened...amazing how far they managed to get in such a short space of time.

Got a few funny looks from people in the carpark as i started to crawl around the inside of the car hunting the little buggers.

I,ll see if i can work it out glen, brb :)
the online calculators seem to come up with 12:1 + glen and 1330cc
with 72.5mm bore, 80.5mm stroke, 18cc combustion chamber (2mm skimmed and weldfilled) 1.2mm h/g, 2cc dish, and 1mm below deckface
