how does he do that?cut the centre out and weld it the other way?

how safe is it? i thought stuff regarding the wheels have to been vertified in some way?

They look quality anyway!

stani i think you need a set of std nissan centre caps on them wheels to finish them off maybe in white also with the nissan badge romoved id love to see it, if you like the idea i have a set :D
 
Ive thought about that will but they wont go over my locking wheel nut. Anybody know if i can get normal smaller centre caps
 
Cheers baz, im gutted at how black they are on the front with dust. Anyone using greenstuff ebc know if theres much dust off them?
 
is it because the locking nut sticks out too far? if its just too wide or something cut off one of the hooks? im sure theyll hold over 3 nuts?

I'm running Greenstuff Stani. They're not perfect but they're a HELL of alot less mucky than standard. Deffo worth it with those wheels.
 
Will they stick out loads, id say too much for cutting it out too.

Chris thats good to hear, i had yellowstuff before and there wasnt any dust from what i seen but coulnt find a stock micra set online :(


UPDATE- car is no longer immobilised. It was the 25A engine control fuse to the front of the battery. Had the car in bits too but is worth it in the end :D

Well today was the day i got a spare morning to work on the turbo kit. Main thing that needed done was my exhaust from the cat to the turbo downpipe. Here are some pics :) all been took off again though

I wish mate, end of july start of august. I get my headgaskets/filters/fluids/belts from nissan on monday. Ive gotta get the back of the manifold flange skimmed flat. I need to weld the fuel rail and fit the gts-t fuel pump. Gotta get in touch with ed to see how much more i need as im wanting him to remap it when i go to salisbury for 5-7 days :D
 
Looking good mate (Y). Love the white steelies and HID kit, they look pukka with the white paintwork :grinning:. Can't wait to see this when it's boosted, looking forward to the next update :grinning:
 
Well got my front brakes done tonight, brembo max discs, greenstuff pads and goodridge hoses. Had to replace both front pipes too the passenger side being a pain to get neat with an engine in the way!!

Finished reading finally! Passed my time in work nicely though! You doing much work to the car these days? Was gonna maybe pop up see it in bits have a better idea for my setup?

Great progress though :) Pepper!

P.S I had a #### turbo Micra few years back which had a 2mm plate between two gaskets to lower the C/R, had 152bhp with a god awful setup... Used an apexi AFR to adjust it's fueling. Bought it that way for £500 though lol lasted 2 weeks and sold for £600! So my point is you think that could help you out? I was tempted with making one in my work along with some other custom parts I'll need :)
 
Do you mean can a spacer plate help me? Not really as i trust the 2 headgaskets on top of each other method :) should be turbo'd in a month so you got till then to come see my parts?
 
You have done well there your old turbo kit is doing will had it all sorted its now running 154hp im happy with it had to get the turbo fixed as it was using oil and 3rd engine fitted but now all sorted just need to get to some shows now with it i will put some pics up later for you to see stani keep up the good work car looks very well
 
Stani, I think your K11 is one of nicest looking ones on here. Nice colour, and just plain and simple, not over the top or anything (Y)

Stani, do you have a plan to blacken the inner parts of the headlamps?
 
I want to do mine, but I'm too worried I'd melt them with the heat gun :glare:

If you keep them the way they are it's not bad at all, the car looks very smooth. The blackened one bring some aggressive look, though :wasntme:
 
Pepper - when I did mine, it didn't melt the plastic part on the back. You just have to be very careful, and not hold it over the same bit for too long.

Would look really good with the white Stani (Y)

I probably will do them eventually, when taking them apart keep the heat to the glass side and youll not melt the plastic
