Wdidt?

I look around my other Micra. I already stripped driver side rear plastic trim. It got water inside on driver sill FFS. Tomorrow, I will try to strip this Micra out completely then I can investigate these water leaking. It must from sunroof drain pipes block? If its sunroof fault then I will need to modify this drain pipes.

What do you reckon about water leaking?

Cheers
Jk

WDIDT?

It is not actually today but this week.

Replaced the fuel filter and found it was totally clean and in no need of replacing. After replacing the problem persisted. The EML was on and the car was loosing power on 3rd gear between 25-30 but not always. Tested the lambda and found out that the signal was flat and P0130 was still there. Contacted the supplier for RMA, and received in email telling me that the code is related to the circut/power not the lambda itself. Removed lambda and cut the the universal connector and this soldered wire to wire. After driving 2 miles the EML gone off.

Yesterday the loosing power/kangaroo at the speed of 25-30. It happened only once since reconnection of the Lambda sensor.

Has anyone got any ideas what is wrong?

Regards

Cheap micra needed! As my beast was involved in an accident :( i need a cheap little run about for a couple of months, looking to spend 3 - 400 and i live in wigan near manchester, not too bothered about condition would be nice if had tax & mot

Spent an hour down the scrapper, got a new drivers door handle (old one cracked), and new control stalks (old ones completely grey/ white), pre-facelift clip ons, so a pain to find.
Then fitted the new pieces and shampooed the drivers seat.
Even though the new stalks were a little faded, the trick I learned somewhere on here (forgive me for not acknowledging who!) about applying a little vaseline did a really good job, and even the old ones look kind of acceptable (so keeping as spare), also did the arm rests which are starting to go.

WDIDT?

...got my bumper all cleaned, taped/masked off up and primered ;)

...it's actually all one kind of white now, instead of "50 shades of..." :p LOL

next step?...get some top coat paint (arctic white 326)
...rub down and apply....
....still debating whether or not to do a lacquer coat when I'm finished?...
...the solid paints from Nissan apparently don't "need" a lacquer coat, but should I anyway?...added protection and that?

Top job Jen. I wouldn't bother with lacquer, you only need that if you have a pearl or metallic colour. Solid colours don't need lacquering.

MicrAde, you are the expert at hand jobs! I machine polished mine last week and it doesn't look any better than yours, plus I got the cream everywhere!....Someone will be along in a moment to fill this thread full of innuendo.

Wdid? just enjoyed driving it really. Got surprise raced ( eek! ) by my mate in his 1.6 golf at the lights, caught up, passed, cruised and eventually he came back lol :p then we went to see Iron Man 3 :D some niiiice cars in that!

What ELSE did I do today? Got the car in the air and finally corrected my axle shift :D

Many thanks AGAIN to ox11ey for making me some "frankstyle" offset panhard rod bushes :D and thanks also to daddy frank for giving me the specs for the bushes ;)

The top pic also nicely illustrates how little "droop" you get with corsa rear shocks
It was a little nerve wracking tbh cos I still don't have a grinder so I just thought I'd "have a go!!"

Found 40mm springs almost new at the scrappy so got them with two front struts chucked in, also got fog lights, mudflap to replace the one I lost, and a radiator bottle to replace my broken one! All for £60 :) grinning from ear to ear.

*chuckle* oh dear, I think I've been hangin' around on here too much :p

WDIDT?...
well the wind picked up a bit today so I just rubbed my bumper back a bit with the 1200 wet and dry
...had a little run in the primer next to my mock "diffuser" ...but it smoothed back just fine...

after I was done I thought I'd better get some photo's, y'know?...for Ade ;)
....and spotted something that must have parked up when I went indoors to get my phone/camera/potato....

Popped down to Halfrouds Halfords after the car boot sales this morning, they must have known I needed it 'cause there was a bundle of masking tape in the bargain bin :D £3.49 £1
... also got the only 2 tins of Arctic white (326) they had left....I'm now ready for top coat!...c'mon weather gap! :)

I do love a nice Cube, but I'm not so keen on Ice Cube, if you see what I mean.

Whassat? Cloth. Stripy cloth. It's just an experiment and I didn't hurt the cloth whilst trying this either so don't report me to anyone.

Broke it :(
Was sat running quite happily and just stopped like someone turned it off. And wont start again
Checked everything.. no spark. Coil ok. Leads ok. Plugs ok. All wires tested ok. Dizzy appears to given up
No try and get a dizzy for a ga16ds pfft yea ok. Sad day :(

I got a cracking deal on some polo coilovers, £55! I couldn't say no. Also, on the private road I came accross on the way to pick them up I hit a sat nav verified 113mph on a VERY slight downhill, so between the exhaust and air intake I must be doing something right, only got 108 there before...
