No problem, once I'd stripped the heater and blower out and painted the bulkhead i thought I'd show it off and the aloy dash covered it up. Makes getting to the wiring easy now too

Im going with a good coat of anti mist on the inside of the screen, job done

It just beads the mist so it runs down the screen instead of clouding it

For bike helmets to stop them fogging up bud, but u can cost a screen in it. Few rally mates swear by it

i removed my heater fan and cowl/ducting today, and fitted this little brushless duct fan instead

40 amps at full chat (what the aeromodellers use for jet engines) blowing directly at the heater matrix (temporary fixed for now)

Poly windows arrived , look to be a good quality. Dropping the tailgate at the body shop Friday so hoping to have them in over the next few weeks

Hoping about half the weight, il weigh it before it goes in for a comparison but it's all MSA width so not race car light. (still hoping I will rally this eventually

I forget what mine was now. 4mm I think... that's the minimum we need but I'll do a weight difference for the comparison

Fitted the tailgate up to fit the new pins. There's a significant difference in weight. With the Poly screen taped in the boot won't shut with the 2 gas struts on it just pushs open again so one strut will be more than enough

Bit of a weight comparison, regular tailgate 18kg, drilled out with poly screen is just over 6kg

@the rally k11 guys on here. What's your tyres preference / wheel size choice? 14 /13 etc any input welcome.
I'm thinking 4 spoke revolution / minilites with 14x6 or 13x6 185 profile.

15 x 6.5j is where its at, then get some nice 195/45/15's on em
Did that bud but sold them. Takes too long to get the tyres warm on that size and acceleration is far more fun with 14's
Looking at a nice soft set of Kumho v70a. There's actually more contact patch on the road with a 185 over a 195 vs a A048r

Just on the road bud. Was 15x7 enkeis for the last 2 hillclimbs (but they were just sold to fund making it quicker)
As a 1 liter in stuck with 13" as otherwise tyres are too wide for regs.
Think Andy runs 15's, but most of the rally guys I now in 1.3/1.4 runs 14"s

Once the throttle bodies go on there's not much more il be doing power wise I don't think.
A year or two and the car will be broken for parts but the engine / box & a few other bits will live on in a different project

I'm heading flip front mini I think, have wanted one for a long time!
No need for a flip front but it does make life easier. Allspeed make subframes now so its a much simpler bolt in job .

I would go flip front mainly for the GRP and light weight. GRP doors an boot too, Group 5 archs....Maybe box the bulkhead to accept the ITBS that sort of thing
