P5 NME for sale!

bit pricey init? i mean there is a genuine "yoo" reg ford motorsport super 1600 puma kit car just underneath this one for £12k less.... theres no way any micra is worth £12k more than a works puma super 1600.

I also can find a lot of rally cars for less than £37k as you said the ex-works puma, or you can pick up a fiesta ST car or C2R2 maybe a scooby or a mk1 or mk2 escort? so it starts the question what would you pay if you had the money? 20k, 15k?
I agree £37k is high but the spec and the history of it is huge! To try and build one from a bare shell would cost how much?
 
i agree with ya K6pfs its probobally had thousands spent on it also i would imagine parts for micras would be alot harder to get than a mk1 mk2 escort etc
 
I've seen this car close up and took pics of it on my phone. It was parked opposite my workshop :) Its a very mad little car indeed and fabulously made with great attention to detail.

Its not literally a steel engine. By that they mean forged internals etc..

hi mate how do you know whats inside my engine when you did not build it :confused: no hard feelings !
after spending over 9k on the new engine only i know whats inside and it is the bizzz.
for all the people who would like to see the car please can you tell me when is the next meeting and i will bring the car there and you are more than welcome to take a look and see where the money has been spent.
i am sure you will like it.

Its seem a really good rally car and after seeing the youtube vids i know what i would be buying if i had 37K ;) I dont think t will depreciate that much either tbh.

Steel is a very broad term, and to be honest means little. Your engine isn't all steel, its an alloy block you know that as well as I do. Your pistons are not steel, they will be forged alloy but definitely not steel.

I re-read what I wrote and it was in no way negative, or for that matter wrong. I don't see why or how you can have any issues with what I said.
 
Quaife make FF sequential boxes. You would need an adaptor plate, but there are many options out there if you have the money.
 
I'd be interested in what you find out Nex, I'm sure its only Hewland that do Nissan not Quaife as they dont even do a diff for micras!

i would suspect it is a generic box, and then someone else does a bell housing to fit it all together

hi mate i think it is a hp2000 box at the time when thay were new it was around 25k but not to sure how much now.but i can get all the parts for my car with no problems.it was also used on the megane kit-car,seat kit-car also sunny/almera kit-car i think i am right but if not please let me know.
 
also primera btcc, mg zr rally car (gwyndaff evans) peugeot 406 BTCC car, Renault laguna BTCC car, well, lots of cars actualy..lol they go now (if you can find one) for arround £12k.

Not sure yet mate, hope to have my blue rally car done as per my blog and then do a local event to bed the car in! What about you? Are you going to do an event with that new engine?

at the moment i will say yes.as i have still got the car so rather than it sitting in my garage it will be nice to bring it out and have some fun(Y)
when i get it back.that should be very soon.
when will the club be organizing an open day/track day as i may bring the car there and set up some competition so someone can have a free ride in my micra kit-car ! how dose that sound ?

Sounds a fantastic idea, I'm sure a lot of members would be up for that!! Where would be the best location traveling wise for you? Becuase I have access to lots of venues over here in sunny norfolk and we also have a tarmac stage rally in April which I will be entering in my micra!

do the club not have a day so all the micras/owners can get together?
in the southeast.
i would have said a free co-drive on a rally but that is not fair for the people who do not have a compitition licence!
if anyone can come up with some good plans please let me know.
 
carbon foot rests, steering wheel, harnesses, large hydrauluc handbrake lever, carbon door cards, fire extinguisher, two way brake biased valved instead of 3 way, E sticker on centre console, green wiring loom instead of black, flocked look dash,

it cant be the same car can it? is it another works car thats had the plate's swapped over? cos p6nme was like this one..

it should be the same car as they are both P5 NME, but thing is first photo was when it was at the main release and the other photo is now so what 12yrs difference, how many cars do you know are the same? taking into account its been used as a rally for 12yrs.

the carbon consol panel is different, so must be a replacement. and one of the mounting brackets on the far side of the roll cage is different.

im being nit picky. its still a perfect car..lol
