Noisy brakes

I get an interesting cyclical metal on metal scraping noise coming from my front brakes when they get hot (the B-roads around my area are really hilly, I also fade the brakes a lot), I can't tell if it's while I'm braking but it continues afterwards for up to half a minute, depending on how much braking I've been doing. Is it the big wad of rust on the outside edge of my discs scraping on the caliper as the discs expand?

take a look at the pads they may need changing, cant do any harm changing them if need be also you can check the discs for scoring whach may indicate dead pads
