Sticking brakes...

Ok so my problem is more common than Jim Davidson but my front drivers disc is squealing like a pig under light braking but more importantly is continuing to do so after ive braked. Ive inspected the discs and pads and its simply gripping the disc following braking. Im planning on renewing discs and pads anyway but is this problem most likely a caliper issue?

try pushing the piston in & out several times to freshen up the piston wall & seal then clean n regrease the pad sliding clips
