Mildred the Micra

sometimes the bottom flange gets damaged from jacking and the drain slots get squashed clo, or else they get covered over with underseal.
then the sills fill up with water and leak into the footwell :) x

Ooooo err! :O I'll get that checked :-( x

yup, hence I extended the front drain tube to go straight through the sill and prevent any of that from ever happening.
try pull back the sill carpets n look for pooling water in the sill port holes during heavy rain?

Tom and I set of last Tuesday and in 4 hours finally found louth and bright spark racing :) spent the rest of the day nattering on and looking round the unit :)

Picked up my rear coilovers and then on the Wednesday fitted the coilovers :) and Andy set them up for me beautifully .... Pre load set just right :) so guess it's time for a pic or two

Then left Wednesday evening

Noticed when I was driving back from work that the steering felt really lose and I felt like I had little control over Mildred after leaving a round about sideways with very little ice on the road. Removed the "camber" from the front and perfect!

Now on the lookout for new wheels so I can bring her down to ground just a little more and need a bigger ofset to stop scrubbing on the inner arch :) not having much luck with wheels at the minute... Will keep you updated x

So sorting my fogs today :) get them working.
Started with the drivers side got all the paint off noticed a small hair line crack... Nothing major

Mildred finally got lows :)

Just caught up on this properly. I know your pain of a broken foglight, they make an awful mess

Where was the rocker switch from?- does it sit flush to the blank you've fitted it to?... Need something similar for my awooogah horn setup...

It was from the local car part shop... £2.50 :) honestly.... Not flush completely but it isn't to bad of a fitting... I wanted to use that blank as it was the "confiest" place for it to me (left handed) but on the binical around the speedo is a nice flat blank.... Dunno if it is on yours or if you have the electric adjusting headlights :) xx

I love the gearknob... it's so unique, like every other feature of this build. Don't stop!
When will I get to see this car in the metal? :)
