From vtec to micra!!

Hi all


Just thought I'd pop in to say hello
I bought my micra yesterday
It's a 1996 gx in green
80k on the clock

I've come from a series of performance cars
And due to recent events I've been forced to take a big step down
I've had cars like dc2,ek4,s2000,s14,Ibiza cupra,eg4
And more.

I've been looking for a reliable car and came down
To a choice of starlet or micra
And I has to weigh up costs and micra seemed cheapest
Even though I've got no idea what I've bought
But I know it's jap and should be reliable.

One thing that did bug me was lack of equiptment
I.e windy windows, manual mirrors,no abs,no pas
But it's budget motoring so needs must

Look forward to Reading up on the micra

thats a massive step down! lol have youu brought the 1.3 or 1.0 GX? i know its a prefacelift (with it beeing 96) the 98 1.3 gx's have electric windows & PAS

Yeah it's a 1.3
Can any one answer my question on the k11 discussions section??
Yeah it is a massive step down
But circumstances have led me to being unable to insure anything wot so ever

I nearly bought a starlet but they both look similer
And Similer specs but starlets are 300 plus £ more on top
Of price of a decent micra

welcome mate, the 1300's are good engines and they might not seem much but you can get good fun from them and theres a few rapid ones about! .
