Bump strips.

I recently removed the bump strips and was left with a horrible adhesive. Not good! ive tryed so much to get it off, i used a hairdryer, scouring pad, hot soapy water..

Do you guys have any ideas how to get it off? i dont really wanna go down to halfrauds and get ripped off, im rather looking for something thats around the house that will get it off.

paraffin and a microfibre cloth should get rid of it. or you could use a toffee wheel.

Petrol?

Acetone (nail polish remover) always seems to be able to get rid of stuff.

Or a heat gun and credit card.

the paint on cars is petrol resistant

nah just make sure you clean it off properly afterwards.

Good work, hope you get it removed nicely. Cant remember what I used I'm afraid.

Uncluttered and white will look really good when you get it done.
