A new begining. Bike carbed Super S.

You saying you don't want the itoyo intercooler?
is that what it says? I could never read it lol.

I can always just flip the intercooler round so its blank or paint it black.
Still for hundred smackers I cant moan even comes with a downpipe

So I wont be needing my toyo sport td04 manifold or td04 because honestly I would prefer a smaller turbo.

Think I read it wrong mate

I jus need a intercooler, I thought you said you don't need your toyo.......me thinking it's regarding you intercooler.

Good buy either way lol :D

I would like to give @Enuo a huge thank you for collecting the parts for me and sand blasting my ct9 manifold.

Cool, what you gunna do bout the flange?. Get one made and weld on....or can this be drilled and weld some lugs on?

I have to do what stani did and get a flange made and reweld it. Also I am very tempting to do what you did use a starlet turbo inlet an weld on micra inlet to the end.
Means I can use wider range of injectors and nice big throttle bodies.

I think the studs are way far of the redrill frank but if it is possible I would love to do it. So much easier.
You want the studs to be far out so you drill into clean metal. Just need a cg manifold and gaskets to be a tamplate to redrill :)

I dont have any cg stuff to hand. Andy your the one who currently has them do you think they are redrillable?

My bc coilovers havnt come yet but my gaz rear coilovers are on. Got some nismo wheel on the way specs are 14x6 and 30ish et. Going to get some nice 195/45/14 Yokohama a539 tyres. Lots of grip and fun

I got bored today so I looked to see if the intercooler will fit the k10. Its an intecooler and piping meant for a starlet but by god it fits my k10 near enough perfect.
I need to cut away at the super s front bumper as well but nothing will affect the way it looks just so the intercooler can fit behind the bumper.
I

Piping on the nearside of the intercooler fits good.
I just need to cut abit of that metal away and it will fit better.

That pipe then bends up around into my engine bay which sits perfect!

Then got another pipe which will go on from that and into the starlet inlet I am getting.

This is now the offside piping which is coming from the turbo. I got a U shape pipe which has come in handy but i dont have any more pipe work left but the rest will be sorted when the turbo is fitted.

Once again I need to cut away at the metal for it to fit. I need that pipe level so I need to cut alot out haha.

Go above the little wing brace that's how I plumber mine. It should fit without much trouble :)
Means you can tuck it back a bit. I trimmed my bumper anyway I'll photo it to show you how much space you gain if you like

It wont fit behind the brace mate, I would move it up higher and put it behind the crash barrier but then it will make my life harder when I remove or fit the bumper.

Did some research about the intercooler kit found out its a replica of a HDI starlet intercooler. Reps are about £450 on ebay so I am very happy with my bargain I got haha.

Starlet turbo inlet has been ordered for a massive £15, still dont think if I will attach a cg13 or cga3 inlet to the starlet inlet so I can use it with a cg13.
A forge dump valve has been ordered as well.
Part collecting is fun until you realise how much money you have spent!

Next in the pipe like is a sr20det s14a MAF which will have a plate made up so I can put it after the turbo and after the dump valve so I dont get any unregistered air coming into the engine.
Also going to use a sr20det s14a two plug throttle body with the throttle possession sensors, its abit much but should make the car nice to drive because of the "progressive" throttle.

Mounted the intercooler proper last night, had to cut away at the wings and inner plastics. Also cut away at my bumper which wa scary.

So I made up my own "custom" intercooler cable tie mounts with tiny of cuts of 15mm copper, washer and some bolts. Does the job great

I mounted the intercooler with cable ties which caused my brother and dad to ask the question "why that's idiotic".

k

It's on there solid and when I wobble it it wobbles the whole car so it's mint.
The starlet pipes also line up perfect recommend for any k10.

Bumper got cut out but still needs more cutting! Also cut apart the crash barrier.

Looks good just needs a turbo. I am getting my hands on Jody's 1.3 super k11 going to use the gearbox, engine 95bhp, 4-2-1 exhaust, wishbones, hubs, driveshafts and the 100nx brakes

Looking good Scott. I'd be tempted to move the number plate and cut out the middle bar in the bumper opening. If you've got it flaunt it eh ;)

I would do that but I don't have the balls to cut it haha. I do love being a plumber sometimes raided the stores and got all the stuff I need to make water feed/return and oil return for my turbo. Going to be made out of copper

the oil return fitting for the sump. Should deal good.

Also going to press on some olives to the copper pipe so I got a lip for the rubber pipe to seal on. I will have a small 3inch long rubber or silicone pipe going from the copper to the oil return on the turbo to give it all some flex and because it's the easiest way to do it

Got new drivers seat today. Its a fiberglass bucket seat, only cost me £40! Right bargain and its solid. The seat is only 15 inches wide so its a very snug fit for my fat arse.
Just need side mounts.

I gave the seat a quick blast with some black paint to make the seat look abit nicer.

get the plastic carbon dipped looks awsome

Also I was going to make up a custom rail system but turns out the super s/super turbo seat rails unbolt at the bottom. The rails are also about an inch slimmer than regular K10 rails and a perfect width to fit sidemounts.

Maybe nissan did it on purpose? The side mounts will bolt straight to the rails!

Your build man :)
Indeed haha, what I am going to do though is put a japanese headband around the top of the seat to cover the xsport logo. The headband has the red dot in the middel and something like "we will always win" in japanese writing.

Nice I have a bucket but want s matching pair really :/
Yeah I would love a matching pair as well mate, but seems to be with carbon/fiberglass seats you can pull off the one bucket seat looks quite good.

Aload of the "street tuned" cars over in jap land use one bucket seat.

tumblr_inline_n5w3xewPGv1scngi3.jpg

Also forget all the march cup k10s had only one bucket seat and a normal passenger seat.

They used the march turbo then the super turbo.

The march R comes with normal k10 gsx style seats just with nismo harnesses.

I do.. day in, day out

I'd say I need a hobby but it is my hobby too :p
You can relocate the battery behind the passenger seat for a bit more distribution :)

Seat is all fitted. I can still have passengers and use the original seat belt for normal use because the 5 point belt is a pain to put on
