And where exactly is your dad going to park his car in the garage ? LOL

LOL yep, gonna be shiny shiny black ;)
Looking very good there Jen :).
Cheers Guy.

I know, he's got a lot of tools in there. He's just left a gap each side so he can roll (push) thd car in without the tyres fouling on the pliers/screwdrivers/chisels/wrenches/hammers/drills etc etc... ^_^

Looking good @Jen319 looks like I have some competition. As for dark and rain, do as I do and refurb them in the living room ;)
Thanks Ade :D
If I had my own place that would be where I'd do all my painting, does mean that I need to get a place with a drive thru front room one day ^_^

...Saying that, royal mail could do the main demolition to gain access :p http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-26661572
(Not all that far from me either)

While I remember, there was a nice set of 14" Nissan alloys on it, with centre caps. Didn't study them, but they looked in good nick.
The tyres are shot, other than that a good buy I would have thought.

Did some more painting....obviously :p (Picture heavy)

centre caps...

....oh, and I'm finally an actual member too ;)

EDIT: Lacquer tommorow...still debating rim blades

Looks nice! The most I've done today is stick some primer on the keyless fuel door I pulled from a bluish/purple scrap Micra. I ran out though, so now I have to wait :(

Also ordered some wind deflectors and plate holders.

How easy is to fit the fuel cap release mechanism?

If it's anything like removing it from the old car, then it'll involve removing the back seat and rear passenger side plastic trim. Looks like an easy job, just a bit time consuming. I'll be updating my blog when I get round to it. I still need the bootlid part of the mechanism. I forgot to take that bit off the scrap car.

Me, got the wheels balanced, tweaked front brakes, got quite a crowd at my local Pro-Tyre lol, fitted my new dizzy cap and 10mm leads, adjusted speedo (the wrong way ffs) took delivery of my uber shiny 4-2-1 manifold and DP :) Question: anyone converted dizzy to electronic from hot-Spark? Or not recommended?

Thanks guys... :D
...I've decided to leave the lacquer until Friday so the black is definitely properly dry/cured.
...And I can actually have a chill out day during my week off.
(Tomorrow is the last day of my week off ^_^)
Looking good jen.

Wow, nice haul. You keeping the spoiler?
Hello stuart. No, don't like those spoilers personally, not keeping the rear shelf either (never turn my radio on ... hardly anyways)
I got the speedo for a pattern , going to try and make my own coloured face, so will use it for that only ... then that can go as well.
Bought them for any-one on here who's interested, these items are mentioned all the time, so I thought ... blag em while I can.
The alloys were a very good buy as well if any-one was interested. Help yourselves. :)

Where abouts are you based?

Swapped out the old smeary wipers for some new fresh ones and fitted a nice OEM rear parcel shelf.

Now to trace to see if Nissan included a rear wiring loom and hopefully strike-it-lucky and be in a position to purchase some rear speakers :)
