Grabbed another airbox with airpipe. Drilled some holes in the airbox and cut off / plugged the resonator pipe from the airpipe. Sounds a bit nicer in the mid rev range.

A mixed couple of days....

Friday the rally car went off to be welded up, and they found the rust was a lot worse than i thought - So new sills time, at least i will know they, and the shell with be strong, with no flexing etc... and of course it makes it safer.

A few small jobs today with the rally car away, i tidied up the garage, and painted up the new rear arb drop links, and made up a pair of protective gaiters to try and stop the gravel damaging the rubber boot, which then ruins the drop link.

Also designed a set of wheel ramps, for use with the new sill stands.

Well in my opinion black or white both go well with red, I'd most likely go for white because black is kinda.. dull shall I say

Cleaned out my dizzy cap, corroded terminals as I expected. Ran new permanent live from the battery to the stereo and new car alarm. Sorted out why the ciggy lighter didnt work (required for satnav) Not using all the functions of the alarm yet, but at least its got the basics covered. Got a nice flashing blue led now
