WDIDT?...continued the polishing/waxing theme on mine today
...did both front wings, the rear bumper, boot/hatch lid, wing mirrors and wheels...so....just the front bumper, rear quarters, doors and roof left now :rolleyes:

also seeing as I had the polish in my hand, and my rag hadn't got quite grotty enough to walk to the bin under it's own power, I had a go at mums headlamps (hers have the classic "Renault" clouding <_<)

and there my steel wheels for winter :) lol
 
It reduces or near stops the wheel movement during cornering and allows you to setup the toe in/out better. Basically keeps the wheel where it should be. Also some are ofset allowing for increased caster on micrs andon other cars increased camber.

I did'nt do anything but it is funny how people have bidded on my ebay as when I stated in capitals that they would be bidding on/buying a wheel nut. People don't read. Also I stated the price for the car but yet I have gotten about 20 messages about how much I want for it.

I do hate people sometimes. It amazes me how stupid some people can be.

On a brighter note I have atleast sold a K10 wheel nut for atleast £50 LOL!!!
 
Expensive rare nuts they have eh :p. Maybe I should look for one as a souvenir!

Wdid? Refitted my other less pretty air filter, then remembered my gearbox is shagged so its probably that causing top end losses not the filter... Oh well!
 
Got some new clocks. Just had to replace two bulbs and swap the clear front with my old one as the new one had a slight crack in it. Only took ten mins as they're just plug and play. My mileage has gone up 100,000 and I never even moved off the drive. Lol.

Well I'm gonna drop the front fully to see what its like (amusement value) , but the eventual drop is likely 5-10mm lower than now to tuck the front down a bit and give some slight rake towards the front. May at the same time try out removing the rear helpers or modding them somehow to be about 5 or 10mm lower too.

If you've not got rolled arches measure middle of wheel to top of arch when you're done

I had my coilies down all the way without helpers.

Massive tuck on 13s but it scraped on flat roads and the driveshafts were at such and angle they clunked so loud it was undriveable.
 
I just wanna know what max lowering is on polo rears is all. My driveshafts miss the body well enough, nothing a lump hammer couldn't sort
 
Well measure centre of wheel to top of arch lip, is 350mm on a standard car. Like I said I got a 75mm drop and could probably go lower than that by another 5-10mm lower If I could be bothered puling it all apart.

I used to be like that... except I now have the parts. Was quite literally my shopping list :p
Clearly wanted it to be a nissan with the 'insane' sticker.. plus its another person that thinks his alternator is a turbo :rolleyes:
