Picked up a thermostat and 6L of ready mix Nissan coolant. I now have everything needed to do the water pump and thermostat, thinking of booking Wednesday off....

As an aside, Nissan no longer sell the L250 concentrate. It's now ready mixed and called L248...

Looks like some photo's I've got from Santa Pod taken just as the car is launching :D.

How many corsa-pistoned engines are you building now? Has this kinda crossover build been done before or are you working completely from scratch?

Still keeping with the ghetto build type then :) i wish i had the knowhow to do it myself, i think of going to the scrappy as an expensive day! If anything goes wrong with my car its game over as i cant afford garages to fix it.

Pretty neat hobby, im doing a full degree in engineering but its all just bloomin maths and very little useful practical work, i want to rebuild cars not do double integration haha. Anyway thats not really for this thread, i do admire the work though, if i have the time and cash i may start something similar after uni... Supermicra time :D

Received by cuddly Domuken! £3 delivered from eBay, tomorrow it's replacing the .303 cartridge that hangs from my rear view mirror:

Id say 16 tops really, 17 is too much wheel, youd have to run super low profile to get the right ride height and speedo reading. Also getting tyres low enough profile to fit well will be costly as theyll be a size not many people buy most likely. Also i just think the 16's look better :)

Took the passenger window out as my attempt at a fix with silicone failed miserably to keep the glass on the runner. Epoxy resin used today and seated glass in properly, wound up tight (tight as electric lol) and will see how it holds this weekend. Also used the wood method to lift the drivers door, now closes as it should:cool: Anyone know how long the door stays in place after jamming it back up with timber?

spent 6 hours washing, tcuting and cleaning the car.got sore fingers and stained red hands now lol.but also got a huge grin on my face as the car looks sweet.:D
