what did you do to your micra today ?

i think this forums broke reading these posts

What do you mean mate
Blue wire goes to fog
Red wire is brake light
Connect the black and brown wire together then join them to the sidelights
Yellow wire left indicator
Green right indicator
White wire vehicle earth

You just then need to crack out a test light or multi meter turn each light on one by one test each wire till you find the one you want that's how I do it and I do it every day

Hmmm took her for a drive and noticed a clicking noise when turning left or right, even if its not on full lock, i know nothing to do with my track rods as theyr fixed and that noise has gone just noticed this one, any ideas? sounds like comin from back left hand side sometimes

Also painted my 3rd brake light black but got no piccys as it's not really anything of interest...

Don't really know what to do with the slots really, I kind of like them completely black but i think they deserve at least the lip polished...
We shall see.

try the wheels as are first shaun , look good like that

de,cat'd standard k11 exhaust system yesterday- fully synthetic magnatec 5w 30 a1
http://magnatec.castrol.com/en/product-range/product-detail/5W-30-A1/
( its not easy being the r-reg-sr try play games and you'll see what i mean)
and new oil filter today
let 1.5 litres of the old oil out first topped up with remaining cheap wilkinson oil, went for a long run to flush some more
let engine cool off then drained
all that'd be missing is a visit to doctor frank hmmmmm :grinning:

didnt do anything today but yesterday i did
fit front splitter
fitted led tail lights
fitted xenon side light bulbs
fitted brows on head lights
and glued spoiler on boot down
so i think i acheived quite alot in 3 hrs yes it only took an hour to get the splitter on right lol

Went past 52000 :(
But on the better side, she now has front fog lights (Y), they'll work too if I can find a suitable relay for them. :p

ok so i got into this machine and started i'm up hmmmm, only thing i can say is i wish i hadnt driven him as me being a driver i really wanted to drive back home with this car! the handling set up - matiz stuff i believe - was gripping like anything the power:grinning: once round the way turn'd into 2 and a uphill go, oh boy(my sr wanted to abandon me and stay with frank)

thought id post something a little better now im on my laptop haha!!!!

drove 370miles today and the little beast didnt miss a beat

time to change the oil next few days as its been 6 months since the engine went into my car!

also i have a slight ###### of an oil leak from my oil beather on the side of the cam cover and its just dribbling out when running so ill have to either get an oil catch can or a small elbow to make the breather face upwards and then attack with brake cleaner to clean up the mess!

Looking low r-reg, could go lower? And are those franks reversed rims, they look good, what tyre size you putting on them?

everything would depend on rubb factor , i wouldnt want any for sure
one of the main points of these rimz is having the option to put the standard tyre saving dough

edit ---- yes franks rims

Well today we have got the front fogs working in a temporary configuration until a solution can be figured out on how to get the stalk wired up properly. For now, using original stalk with front fogs coming on with the back also as only option. That will have to wait for another day. Looks infinitely better with them in and working, very pleased. :grinning:

Also, now have attached my electric mirrors from a Japanese March and got the mirror part working. Just need to get the folding part working which seems to be needing some wires running into the back of the control switch from the fuse box or somewhere in the loom. Painting to follow, as well as the rear spoiler from a Sport+. Getting quotes for the spoiler & mirrors as well as the front and back bumper.

How she looks right now:

Sold the alloys . But I've got a new car lined up for collection next week, so I need the money and space

Just done it's latest 5K oil change at 104,976 miles. Castrol Edge 5W-30 and a Nissan filter. I know, I spoil my car .

Noticed a wheel nut has fallen off my front OS wheel  Never had that happen before.

Also got a hoard of goodies from the scrappies in beige: Door pockets, new boot struts, under glove box tray, original micra fitted floor mats, colour coded number plate nipples, rear wash/wipe switch :grinning: Onwards with the spec upgrade!

Pssed it's 2nd MOT - just (Y). Got to get the inner tie rods done now grr.

I changed the gearbox oil for the first time. Used a fully synthetic Castrol 75-90. Change went well, had to chop off a foot of hosepipe to reach the filler-hole. Also repaired the wheel centre-cap fastener, good to have four matching wheels again:)

And finaly got a decent 0-60 video. Run wasn't great, came off the clutch too slow, and ground wasn't smooth, but I got a video of the dials in shot finaly:) I make it 10-11seconds. Have done much better before.

looking good matt (Y)
i finally got around to repairing the bumper damage from when it was a cat C writeoff
