turbo rebuilds hard or easy

Is rebuilding a turbo easy or will I need to give it to turbo specialist, I wana buy a cheap t2 or t25 and rebuild it and make it new again

The down pipe is nearly down it welded ok needs a good grinding and wire brushing

am not selling nothing for 10 pounds

we all have to learn innit abdul if its shaft wear ? you cant always rebuild them btw, (the shaft/turbine assy is expensive) but if the wear is mainly in the bushes, then an ebay rebuild kit will be fine

Thanks frank, it's true we all learn from hard tasks, it's a turbine that's gone, and eBay sells them so ill do that

hmm, an ebay turbine is usually a chinese copy mate, they may not be made from inconel (and may only be suitable for the slightly colder diesel exh gasses)

I am looking for uk seller and emailing them if it's copy or genuine if so I'll buy and repair
