needing help with my turbo stuff..lol

im selling my newly discovered T25 turbo and am geting a fully refurb'd T2 off a punto HGT for £100.......but im unsure if i want to use the integral internal wastegate (which is not very reliable) or use an hks style external wastegate......one that is infinately adjustable...

if i go for setup 1, i can just bolt it on....... if i go for 2 i would need one of these,,,

but for the T2, anyone know where i can get one?

Internal wastegates are not unreliable at all. Infact they are very reliable indeed. You don't need an external one. Also they wont exist for the T2 I very much doubt simply as they are not needed.

BTW a HGT punto is not a turbo. Only the GT turbo puntos are turbo.

and yeah they probs wont make one for the T2, thats why im asking, and.....i would rather have a lovely piece of machined aluminium under the enginebay, especialy with a screamer pipe too...lol

anyway, if i can get dimensions....your on!

Its not the puntos fault directly although they are hideous in design. Usually the people who tune them who manage to blow them up. Some of my turbo stuff started with my mates Punto GTT yearsss ago.
