top speeed!

hi, What top speed should i be getting out my 1.3 micra it seems to hit about 95 thats about it?

thing is it was parked up for 9months before that i had it 115 now sines it has bin back on the road it does about 95. is there somthink rong some where??

Well if its been sitting for 9months then I would do a service anyway. Dunno if its causing a problem though

engine is standard it has 14 speedlines on it. so service it and just use it should be ok? Is it worth changing the distrubutor cap

Hes not having trouble getting to 88 mph though frank. Unless the car thinks it is running in kmh?

prefacelift's should go off the clock if you can get it there...

facelifts are limited to 120 (on speedo) 112 actual speed iirc

you could check/ test plug leads+sensors first then move on
but you said brakes binding? see if wheel tempreture is up after a run in the car

wheels may need rebalancing

You want a scary 1ltr drive franks LPG super beast, that is a immensely quick car

I hit 105 with 4 lads and 2 formula renault wheels in the boot. It was a very steep hill.

ive not been for a top speed run in my new k11 but in the old one i used to run it to 118 on the GPS between manchester and leeds on the M62!
