Starting problems

got myself a 1993 1.0 one owner car a few weeks ago but it was bad starting just keep turn the key and it will start in the end, so did plugs, cap ,air filter, rotor ,fuel filter but is just the same

Ideas please

does it smoke when it fires up?

yes xs fuel from trying to start as it clears and is ok and drives fine

sounds like the dreaded flooding problem to me, there are a few threads on here

yeah probs what frank said. pull the plugs after trying to start it to see if there soaking or oil'y

Have that too on my grey 1.0 now, think it is leaking injectors, need to change them...

nissan used to do a loom extension/resistor for the coolant temp sensor to cure the problem, does it start ok if you pull the injector fuse ?
