eltaylor001 North Rep Jun 9, 2008 #2 Do you mean combinations or permutations? permutations with repetition is 3x3x3x3x3x3x3x3x3x3x3x3x3x3 (3 to power of 14), if I remember rightly, but probably not. This link might help http://mathforum.org/dr.math/faq/faq.comb.perm.html

richj Deactivated Account Jun 9, 2008 #3 yeah the number of different outcomes for a season of 14 games is 3^14 = 4782969 if you could only win or lose: 1game = 2 results 2 games = 4 results 3 games = 8 results and so on.
