Right. What's the best thing to give best finish shine ect?
I've heard 2k grit sand paper then g3?
Not 100% on this. If anyone can shed some light cheers.

you would only use 2k grit on runs or orangepeel really, and G3 will soon break through the paint if used on contours eh, then G7 or t cut, then wax

I use Turtle wash and wax.

Sponge it on, jet wash off. Done.

t cut is about the same grade as G7 dan, is the paint just dull ?

It's 2 shades of blue.. I was going to spray matte black
But if it shines up then I'll keep it the original colour.

t-cut, polish with something like super resin polish, then use was to protect it.
the t cut should be good for colour matching and taking out blemishes
the polish will make it all shiny and the wax will protect it
but if they're two far gone matte blacks probably the best

You could use Farecla G3. The longer you work it within the same area, the finer it cuts. Use a medium hard disc on your machine.
After the shine has been achieved, you need to seal the surface with a good wax.

Would you be using a machine or manual wax on wax off?

I used 2500 grit with g3 compound on a soft sponge buffer polish
Then use maguires swirl x.

I can get hold of a machine. So shouldn't be a bother. Shall I take a

for painting, i use g3, then toothpaste t-cut, then regular t-cut, then meguiars paint clean, then polish then wax.
