From what I am led to believe, plasma TVs are really not worth repairing!

Whats actually wrong with it?

when u turn the screen on you only get half of the screen working the otha half is black

Guessing it must be a 42" TV or above, It will cost you about £900 to replace the Plasma panel.

Be cheaper to buy a new TV

Comet and the likes are doing 50" tv's for like £999.99 etc.... would be better buying a new one.

We bought one a while back and took out a payment protection on it.

It might be worth considering doing this when you buy a new one, we pay £4.99 a month, but after so many years we can upgrade the T.V for a new one for free anyway.

All repairs/replacements are covered and when your spending out ££££'s it's not much to pay a month and you can cancel it at anytime too.

you should of watched watchdog many moons ago when plasma tvs came onto the market, they didnt reccommend anyone to buy one, lcd all the way,and no scorch marks on the screen!!!
