S smiffy Sep 1, 2009 #1 changed the back axel today, bled the brakes and now theres no brakes what so ever, only handbrake. whats the problem and how do i fix it.?

frank Club Member Sep 1, 2009 #4 they must be full of air still smiffy fwn did you use a pipe on the nipple to stop it drawing air in ? or close the nipple each time the pedal was lifted ?

OP OP S smiffy Sep 1, 2009 #5 Closed the nipple each time the pedal was lifted, I give it ago again tomorrow with a pipe over the nipple and see what happens.

frank Club Member Sep 1, 2009 #6 if you clamp the 4 flexies and you get some sort of a pedal, that will give you some idea where the air is
