frank Club Member Jun 4, 2008 #2 rob i would strip the calipers and check the pistons first, if they clean up ok, then you just have to sand the rust off the slides and paint a bit of copperslip on. if the pistons are pitted, they be scrap :grinning:

OP OP Robert Ex. Club Member Jun 4, 2008 #3 So what am i looking for? Just that they move forwards and backwards freely? How would i check that?
