NME shell for sale

The pectel is knackered, i've peter vaughen a few times now to send it back but he keeps forgetting.

The drive shafts are there

The car is a N plate

The front bumper is moulded in but a little bit of work with a dremel and this can be made removable, but a bit of tidying with filler and paint would be recommend to finish it off

No other problems with the car, as for rust it has a little bit on the crossmember however it is minimal and the thing is still solid. It shouldn't need replacement any time soon

no other problems, as i said previous the front suspension i changed over to koni's as the bilstein split. Dont see it as a problem but one key is a NATS key the other isn't

damn shame this like.

why dont the club group together and buy it as a club project car?

this really shouldnt be going to the scrappy like.

i had a conversation with Mike and if it wasnt for the distance i would have taken it and used it as a project car but would cost too much to get it up here.

if anyone is interested i can source all the parts you need for a ga16 conversion except the modified shafts

Mike

wouldnt cost that much to transport it oop north like.

when i bought dusks k11 i hired a trailer for 2 days for £40 and used the company van to go down and get it!

i would of had this if i didnt already have to w.i.p k11s lol

Mike, when you do a 1.6 conversion like Ricks, i have followed his instructions carefully and if i used a 1.3gearbox, i dont see why i would have to make shafts up?
Like when titch used a 1.6 box - he just used the shaft ends..!

Have you seen Jakellys shafts, they arent ideal like.. but i guess it would work temporarily..

And how much would you "source" the relivent parts for - and for how much?

mike, my advise is wait a month or so, its the end of the financial year, people are getting bonuses and pay raises, dont scrap it, please

I've been quoted £300 for all the primera bits i would need, so engine, gearbox, manifold, tb, wiring loom(complete), original shafts, etc.

The car had done 59k

I totally missed this thread, how the funk did that happen?!

Anyway Mike, sorry to hear this mate :(, what happened with the engine, etc? Have you sold those bits???

Edit: A mechanic friend of mine (Jap specialist) did mention to me that the 1.6 drops straight in, so he might want to take the challenge on. If its not sold, I'll have a thing about it :)

I mean, they do if you know what to prepare first, and what is involved in a conversion :)

He literally just said to me "I'd love to put the Primera 1.6 engine in for you", I'm so tempted to take him up on the offer :grinning:
