Nats problem help.

hi guys i am new here.


i just purchased a w reg micra 1.3 auto and the engine management light keeps coming on and off. i went to the mechanic to get it checked out and he told me i had a nats problem and was surprised that my car starts and drives normally.i have been doing searches online but all the info i found was useless. the car starts first time and drives fine no problem at all.
any help or suggestions would be appreciated

it does,nt sound like a nats problem king, i would check for any faultcodes first

the mechanics hooked it up to his computer or whatever that machine is called and nothing came up but that fault.

i got that fault code from a garage,but on my pre-facelift,,,,,,,it turned out to be the igniion switch on my 1997 micra
