Micra Running Problem, Video Included, any ideas?

Hi Everyone,

I have a nissan micra 1998 1.3 inspiration. I was not driving it however it decided to cut out on a person who is insured to drive it, I had a look and it starts fine with no problem, it even idles fine. We let it warm up and the fan even came on and we assumed it was a one off, then all of a sudden it begun to "bog" and idle rough, it made a "sucking" noise near the rear of the car followed by some "knocks". If you keep it at full throttle it wont cut out but will run terribly and made weird noises, when its cold its fine and revs nice and smooth but then it just suddenly changes. I have made an assumption it may be the fuel pump? Its not the distributor as thats brand new and fitted correctly and got checked to make sure it was not. I mean its an old car so I don't want to spend hundreds fixing it up but its difficult finding the problem.

Here is a video of the car (warmed up and full throttle) (Note: 17 second mark knocking)

Any ideas?

Much appreciated.
