only problem with the lea's is the wind... we can always go 2 a pub for something 2 eat? just site outside :D lol loads round there
 
That actually sounds alright the sundial do food drink and have a big garden with seats and a car park right nxt door :)

took me 3 1/2 hours to get to sunderland the other month when it was the japnorth show.

Traffic was good too so i think 4 hours for paddy is about right,

i can put out for longer than that

pub not really the best of ideas for a car meet really imo... every1 sat there drinkin coke!! bbq sounds like a better idea i rekon!
also wheres the word from the other NE members? theres not many of the usual lot sed yes or no!
 
im only in attendance coz its on me front door, otherwise wouldnt travel 300 miles for a bbq
 
We are hoping to have it on the sea front area, and if the roads are clear, there will be loads of parking for everyone, otherwise people will have to park in the pay and display.. :(

can you not just set up on gypsies green or is that not allowed what about bents park can you just go in there or the field in the marine park you can set up camp on the grass in there bbq and all!
 
IM deffinately interested but i live in pontefract in yorkshire not really sure how to get there,if anyone from around my area is going maybe i could tag along
 
I think for everyone travelling from outside the area we should have a meeting point where it will be easy to find and most people will be using to get here anyway, i.e. A1 or A19. what people think?

Thinks that cos the topic got slightly silly and went way off topic. May be up for it depending on what tie I'm working and if I have the car back in time. :)
 
Cant we have it on the 28th weekend, cos im off work the following week and have invited Titch down, and ive decided that he is definately coming :D

I just did that drive on Sunday and it took me 2hrs20 AND I was stuck in traffic!!

yeah sorry, may. but since we have now spent 93 posts changing dates the date now stands at may the 28th. so there :p
 
If I am not at work I will be there. If I am at work, I may pop along afterwards to see if you are still there and joi in the fun - I finish at 5pm so hoping that wont be too late.
