Lighting problems

Changed my Rear brake light yesterday with no problems and didnt think anymore on it the i noticed this morning when i press the brake pedal my dash lights up... and ideas people?

Was it the stop and tail one per chance ?

and did you fit a generic stop and tail, or the (offset pin) fog and tail one ?

because the wrong one will bridge the 2 connections and give "bad earth" like symptoms (backflowing along another lighting circuit)
