i have tried this method! few things though
1. wont get out creased dents.
2. can weaken paint (so dont do it unless you dont mind flaky paint!)
3. best stuff to use is servisol freeze it from maplins. : http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=29004
or if you wanna stick with traditional air dusters : http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=45631
if you watch enough of the tutorials it basically can sort out slight dished dents i.e football on a door panel.
