ollyc98 Ex. Club Member Sep 29, 2009 #10 No it doesn't work due to the countersunk bit that the nut goes into, used to do it on the old minis with flat wheels

OP OP Cheef Buy & Sell Member Sep 29, 2009 #11 Well NO. The rears go on but only with different wheel nuts. (You'll see in the pics) And the fronts don't go on at all because there is no dish for the calipers to "sit in". Just wait for the pics Camone.

OP OP Cheef Buy & Sell Member Sep 29, 2009 #16 believe me I was out of it. Mark those wheels are what I'm after but I don't really do bids. Buy it now for me. Also a serious question: Are the rears fitted in reverse SAFE to drive as normal?

Tom 1.0 Ex. Club Member Sep 29, 2009 #17 i'd say no... and given how exposed the tread is, you'd be pulled immediately and as its an Mot failure would get you three points and a fine

OP OP Cheef Buy & Sell Member Sep 29, 2009 #18 Then on that note I'm glad I put them back on as normal. JUST got me 6 months tax today too. (Y)
Tom 1.0 Ex. Club Member Sep 29, 2009 #19 lol might be an idea, and i wouldnt think the wheels would take the stress either cool cool (Y) be a shame to waste it then eh?

OP OP Cheef Buy & Sell Member Sep 29, 2009 #20 Definitely not. The rims would put major stress on the studs too. Not what I or anyone else here wants! At least this is a lesson to all those in future who will ask: "Reverse rims, Can it be done?" Answer is: Buy some proper wheels!
