Well - having left Micra ownership, and passing my beloved Super S on to a fellow MSC member

I went over to the skoda camp - a fabia VRs.....

....all issues aside (including nearly £500 worth of faults in 10 weeks on the damn thing), I plain and simple didn't enjoy the car :-(

So I've bought something better!

Still hankering for another k11 - but going to leave that until we've got a place with a garage so that I can invest some serious time into an sr20 conversion..

So for now, my new daily is an 06 plate 160SR, 45k and 1 previous owner

But ultimately the styling cues will be very similar to my old k11 :-D

Feels great to be behind the wheel of a micra again :-D

Obviously the update to both our cars will end up over in the k12 section, but I thought I'd post this over this side for those of you who might know my old car

Aww dude you should have just bought the K12 instead on that Skodia in the first place. Can't wait to see the progress on this one as your super s was in awesome nic (and still is may I add)...

You're not wrong mate - i think I was fooled by the ridiculous amount of torque the VRs has, into thinking it was actually a quick car - but up to 70 the 160SR runs rings around it! - not to mention the far superior performance in the twistys in the micra!

Feels sooooo good to be back behind the wheel of a micra - really miss the super s, but going to kinda style the k12 as a sort of a bigger brother version ;-)
Maybe somewhere down the line I might even look to put a vvl engine in it ;-)
